Franck Bublex is Ellipse’s Executive Vice President of Industrial Operations. Franck leads the production of EVC  (Ellipse Verification Code) All-In-One modules in Ellipse factories and partner facilities worldwide. He also oversees the launches of all Ellipse factories.

Franck is an experienced leader in manufacturing and payment card processes. His work is defined by his extensive expertise in manufacturing and a dedication to quality, continuous improvement, a collaborative style, and strong long-term partnerships.

 

Franck has held roles in operations, management, and transformation in Slovakia, Mexico, the UAE, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. He has over 22 years of experience in operations and over 10 years of experience in the payments and card industries. Previously, Franck held the position of Chief Operation Officer at AustriaCard, where he managed payment card manufacturing sites and card personalization facilities in both Europe and the USA. He also held multiple positions at Idemia, where he was responsible for overseeing production, maintenance, quality, IT, compliance, reporting, supply chain, purchasing, and more for multiple card manufacturing plants and card service centers. Franck also worked as LATAM Multi-Site Launch Plant Director for Faurecia, where he led the launch of 3 new manufacturing plants, focusing on hiring & training a technical team, testing processes, SOP & ramp-up, KPI set-up, and team involvement. Franck has experience in business strategy, team management, manufacturing strategy, cost reduction, change management, P&L operations, and more.

 

Franck studied Mechanical Engineering at INSA (Institut National des Science Appliqées) in Lyon, France. His technical background and his demonstrated mastery of creating and running manufacturing facilities for payment cards combine to make Franck uniquely qualified for the job of launching and maintaining Ellipse’s global manufacturing presence.
